About Tutor

Tutor, one of the largest educational agencies in the Czech Republic, was founded in 2000. Tutor offers a broad range of courses for both the general public and companies throughout the Czech Republic.

Tutor specializes in preparing students for University entrance exams, as well as training management. Tutor Language School offers a wide range of languages at all levels.

We feature modern classrooms in the centre of the city, qualified, experienced teachers and up-to-date educational methodology. That means Tutor provides you with effective, high-quality education.

                                                                             

Tutor Language School

At Tutor, you can study 17 languages at all levels (from beginner to advanced). Lower levels (Beginner – Pre-Intermediate) are usually taught by Czech teachers, higher levels by native speakers (with the TEFL certificate).

Czech for foreigners

 

We offer a broad selection of courses:

General language courses

• One or two 90-minute lessons per week
• Classes are aimed at all four language skills (reading, writing, speaking, listening)
• Lessons focus on grammar, extending vocabulary knowledge and strengthening communication skills

 

Exam courses

• Preparatory courses for the following exams: PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, BEC, DELE, DELF, Z D
• Emphasis is placed on practicing examination techniques
• Students also practice tests from past years

Conversation courses

•  Emphasis is placed on strengthening communication skills
• Students practice quick reactions in all situations
• Systematic vocabulary building focusing on high-frequency, useful words and phrases

Grammar courses

• Suitable for learners who want to develop their knowledge of grammar
• The course is focused on learning and practicing new grammatical structures

 Post-secondary language courses

• A study programme  accredited by The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic
• Intensive course designed for secondary school graduates, but other students are also welcome
• Year-long programme, 20 lessons a week

Special courses for children and teenagers

• Courses designed for children and teenagers aged 3-15
• Special courses for high school students
• Our aim is to motivate children to learn foreign languages

Courses for mothers on maternity leave

• Special courses designed for mothers on maternity leave
• Babysitting provided during the lesson
• While the mothers study, children can play with other friends

 

Intensive courses:

• Intensive courses are designed for those who want to make progress in a short time

Professional English:

•  Business English, Business Skills, Financial English, Legal English, Medical English

 
Individual courses

• Courses are individually designed to fill your special needs. The outline is based on your requirements
• Classes can take place in your home, at our school or at your place of work
• Suitable for students with limited time possibilities

 In-company courses:

• Special in-company courses are intended for firms that need to educate their employees in a foreign language
• Courses are designed to fill the client's individual, special needs
